Reveal Party at Eurosonic as part of Hit the North, SPOT festival & Tapetown partnership

As part of a collaboration between Danish music festival for emerging artists, SPOT festival, Dutch talent program for artists from the Netherlands, the music-business festival Eurosonic and recording studio Tapetown, Danish band and artist Reveal Party went to play a showcase at this years ESNS.

The Hit the North program is a part of the official Eurosonic program and provides opportunity for upcoming, emerging and underground artists and bands who next to their concert at the festival also learn a lot about how to reach a sustainable future within music. The Hit the North project and Tapetown have worked together over the past years to try and provide more opportunity for artists and bands across Europe. The exchange between SPOT festival and Eurosonic is one of the opportunities that is available to artists from Netherlands and Denmark at the moment. The Scandinavian recording and mix studio is working on a range of exchange opportunities with both Hit the North and other associations. Currently the two partners are looking to expand their SPOT and ESNS exchange, with Eurosonic deciding to also expand their opportunities for new Dutch artists outside of the Netherlands.

While google is fighting Danish music rights organization KODA about decreasing payments on music through youtube, they've taken away access to a lot of videos if you recide in Denmark. Luckily most of the videos from our studio is still available, with the exception of the one with The Murder Capital - so far atleast.

Until then here's a video by a Danish act from the Copenhagen underground. Set to play one of the few festivals that will actually take place this year in Denmark, Uhørt, they could see a bright future.

They visited the recording studio before the rona hit and this has been sitting for a while. Mix and master was done by Rasmus Bredvig & Emil Thomsen and of course recorded at Tapetown on Lydhavnen in Aarhus - the hub for professional recording, mix and mastering services in Aarhus.

About Leizure:

Hailing from Copenhagen, Denmark, Leizure is the sound of hitting winter depressions, that carves through your skin and gets ripped apart by pumping basslines, crooked guitar figures, marching drums and a screaming saxophone, that unfolds its jazzy tendencies and mix them in a chaotic sound, when lead singer Zakarias Sanderson puts it all together with his dissonant vocals and lyrics that often treats topics and big emotions like depression, death, religion and brutal love stories. Leizure started out in the beginning of 2016 playing shows at different underground venues in Copenhagen, Denmark shortly after Zakarias Sanderson invited fellow musicians and friends among for some jam-sessions to put the finishing touch on his sketchy punk-compositions. Emerging from the Copenhagen underground scene they've already supported fellow Danish artists like Iceage & they'll be performing at this years Uhørt festival, which is a music festival for the rising talents of Denmark.
