Recording in Denmark
Tapetown welcomes bands and solo artists from across Denmark for recording and live sessions. We focus on indie and alternative music, preserving the character of the performance and the artist’s own sound. Tapetown has studios in Aarhus and on Djursland, Denmark, and is building a new, large recording studio facility at Friland on Djursland, about 20 minutes from Aarhus, opening in 2027. We mix and master online for artists worldwide. Tapetown started in 2011 at Feedback in Viby and co-founded Lydhavnen in 2012. Follow the new studio’s progress on the Studio Build page.
The equipment
The Studio's setup consists of a very solid base of high-end analogue equipment and microphones as well as a big number of gorgeous oddities that
you can only love or hate.
We also provide a wide range of amplifiers and instruments artists can use for all recordings.
The engineers
Troels Holm and Rasmus Bredvig are the recording engineers at tapetown. Together they have worked with over 150 artists and are credited with some of the biggest alternative names in the danish music scene

Troels Holm is our lead recording engineer. He has worked with artists like First Hate, Blaue Blume, Marching Church, Bisse, When Saints Go Machine, Grava, Turquoise Sun, Gullo Gullo, Users, Virgin Suicide and many more..
Owner & Studio manager
Rasmus Bredvig
Rasmus Bredvig is the owner and manager at Tapetown. For the past 15 years, he has been running the studio and in charge of live sessions, recording and mixing Tapetown Sessions with artists such as Iceage, The Murder Capital, Bambara, Mikal Cronin, Peter Sommer and The Fresh & Onlys; while recording and mixing well over 100 different releases in the studio.
