Gustav Scheel mixes indie, alternative, folk, Americana and indie pop with a smooth, spacious and refined approach. A trained recording engineer, he shapes the balance, depth and dynamics around the song, keeping vocals, instruments and the character of the performance at the centre of the mix.

The aim is a mix with room for the voice, a clear sense of depth and dynamics that follow the performance. Whether the arrangement is intimate or layered, the starting point is the sound you want and the details you want to preserve.

 

Working with Gustav

Gustav works near Aarhus, Denmark, and mixes remotely for artists elsewhere. Send a rough mix, a couple of references, the number of songs and your intended release date. We discuss the direction, agree the files needed and provide a quote. Scope, revisions and delivery dates are agreed for each project.
