BAEST live at SPOT Festival 2026: “Misfortunate Son” and “Necro Sapiens”
On 2 May 2026, Aarhus death metal band BAEST played Parkscenen in Musikhusparken for SPOT Festival. The live film captures two songs from that set: “Misfortunate Son” and “Necro Sapiens.” Morten Birk recorded the performance. Troels Holm and Rasmus Bredvig mixed the audio at Tapetown Studio, and Rasmus edited the video.
The full performance runs 10 minutes 37 seconds. “Misfortunate Son” starts at 00:00 and “Necro Sapiens” at 04:35.
Two songs from across BAEST’s catalogue
“Misfortunate Son” appears on Colossal (2025), while “Necro Sapiens” is the title track of the band’s 2021 album. The film puts them together on a stage in BAEST’s home city.
